Recent studies suggest that up to 50% of all adult Dobermans will develop heart disease at some point in their lives. A Holter monitor is a cost effective way to test your dog for heart disease. The CDPC has an Alba Medical Systems DR200 Holter (with vest and all needed supplies) available for rent to both club and non-club members who live East of the Mississippi.
- Club member rental fee: $65 (includes shipping to renter and one kit, does not include Alba Medical data read or shipping back to CDPC)
- Non-Club member rental fee: $85 (includes shipping to renter and one kit, does not include Alba Medical data read or shipping back to CDPC)
- Additional kit fee: $6/per
If the holter needs to be shipped, the renter is responsible for all shipping costs, and the holter must be insured for $1,000.
The renter is responsible for all damages to or loss of any of the holter equipment and must agree to replace any damaged/lost items.
The renter must sign a contract with the CDPC, which will be provided once the holter monitor rental request form has been completed, submitted and reviewed.
